FAQ
My dog is... "energetic." Can you still get the shot?
A. "In motion" is the name of the game! I specialise in capturing dogs being dogs, whether that’s mid-zoomie, chasing a ball, or doing that awkward ears-back sprint. Don't worry if they won't sit still; the best photos usually happen when they're busy having the time of their lives.
What should I bring with me?
A. The goal is to keep your dog’s focus on us (and the camera). I recommend bringing:
High-Value Treats: Think "the good stuff" chicken, cheese, or whatever makes them sit up and take notice.
A Favourite Toy: A ball or squeaker is great for getting those alert expressions and action shots.
Poo Bags & Water: The usual essentials for a day out. Definitely don't forget the water if its a warm day.
Patience: Dogs will be dogs! If they need five minutes to sniff every blade of grass before we start, that’s totally fine.
What gear should my dog wear for the session?
A. To get those clean, professional "in motion" shots, I kindly ask that dogs do not wear harnesses during the shoot. Harnesses are bulky, hide the dog's natural shape, and are a nightmare to edit out!
Ideal: No collar at all, or a thin, simple collar.
Best for Control: A slip lead is perfect as it’s easy for me to "vanish" in post-processing.
Leads: Don’t worry if your dog needs to stay on a lead for safety, I can easily edit those out. Just leave the heavy duty gear at home (unless of course that is the look you want in your images).
Where are you based and do you travel?
A. I’m based on the border of Wigan and Warrington, meaning I’m perfectly placed to cover both areas and beyond. Travel is included within a 20-mile radius of my home base. If your dog has a favourite adventure spot a bit further out, I’m happy to discuss travel for a small additional fee to cover the extra miles.
How many pictures will we receive?
A. I’m a big believer in quality over quantity. Depending on your chosen package, you'll receive between 5 and 20 fully edited, high-quality images. I’ll pick the absolute best shots that truly capture your dog’s personality and spirit.
Love more than what's in your package? Additional digital images and prints are always available to purchase separately after your session.
When will we get our photos?
A. You’ll receive a link to your private online gallery within 2 to 3 weeks of our session. From there, you can download your high-resolution digital files, share them with the world, and choose your favourite for your included print.
